| Description:
This position is available in the Southeast. The Training Supervisor in this position is responsible for establishing operator training programs content and ensuring that training program implementation is in accordance with NRC requirements and INPO guidelines. This includes ensuring proper scheduling, tracking and documentation of all programs. The Training Supervisor conducts and documents evaluations of training program and course effectiveness and makes adjustments as necessary. The Training Supervisor develops, reviews, and approves training materials, exam questions, and exams. The Training Supervisor also conducts classroom, simulator and practical training courses on the Senior Reactor Operator level. In addition, this position is accountable for appraising and reporting student progress and documenting and maintaining records for training. In support of these activities, the incumbent directly supervises approximately six instructors and indirectly supervises clerical support personnel. |

| Required Skills:
This position requires a BS/BA degree, a Sr. Reactor Operator Certification, plus a minimum of 5+ years of commercial nuclear power plant experience to include 4 years of instructional experience. Sr. Reactor Operator License is strongly desired. The successful candidate must maintain instructor certification. Candidate must also possess strong written and oral communication skills and ability to interface with the NRC, INPO, and other utility personnel. |
