| Description:
(NO relocation assistance provided) The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing medication management, group and individual psychotherapy, and ongoing consultation with other team members within the following programs: Adult Outpatient, Substance Abuse, Adult Partial and Med Clinic. Carries out duties in accordance with the Compliance Program, which requires that all services be provided in compliance with all state and federal laws governing our operations and be consistent with high standards of business and professional ethics. All employees shall review the designated compliance policies from time to time and as necessary, to guide their actions. Access to clinical records and Protected Health Information for this position will be detailed as part of the orientation training and the requirements for compliance with related policies will be explained. All staff must comply with these requirements. 1. Provide evaluation, treatment, medication management, consultation, community education and training activities. a) responsible for 26 hours of billable service per 40 hour week after 30 days of employment. 2. Provide medication management to Agency clients in assigned programs under the supervision of the Medical Director or designee. 3. Complete clinical documentation per agency policy to include treatment plans, clinical contact notes, daily time sheets, managed care authorizations, discharge summaries and all others as needed. 4. Assist in collection of self-fees by discussing delinquent fees with clients. 5. Maximize collection of client fees by insuring that services have been pre-authorized. 6. Achieve established utilization management/desired client outcomes for cases assigned. 7. Attend clinical supervision, and team, department and agency staff meetings as provided. 8. Accept cases and attend trainings as assigned by supervisor. 9. Compliance with agency procedure for approval of leave/vacation time. 10. Educational leave must be approved by your supervisor. 11. Accept and complete additional relevant duties as assigned by supervisor. 12. Practice and present in a manner consistent with Quality Improvement goals activities. |

| Education:
1. Master's Degree in Psychiatric Nursing. 2. Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist program recognized by the State of Vermont Board of Nursing. 3. State license or license eligible with prescriptive privile |
