Description:
The Comprehensive Scheduler's role consists of the following key functions:

1) Comprehensive Planning and Project Scheduling - Create and maintain an accurate, current comprehensive schedule for all ongoing projects. Scheduling support begins with proposal activities and ends with equipment warranty expiration. This individual will be responsible for determining the format and collecting resource plans from all departments involved in project execution. The comprehensive schedule will identify time frames for key project milestones; independently identify project resource requirements and track actual progress versus planned progress.

2) Process Improvement - Identify and track recurring problem areas from the comprehensive schedule and develop and implement recommendations to solve the issues leading to the problem areas.

The Comprehensive Planner/Scheduler reports directly to the Vice President, Project Execution; however, this individual must interface with Sales Managers, Application Engineers, Project Accountants, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Controls Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Production Control Manager, QA Manager, Purchasing Manager, and the Engineering Design Group, as well as with client personnel, consulting engineers, major equipment vendors, and installation sub-contractors.

The Comprehensive Planner/Scheduler role is a new endeavor and this individual will need to work closely with the Vice President, Project Execution to establish corporate and project related planning and scheduling process maps, procedures, and work instructions. Additionally, given the growth rate, this position could evolve into a managerial role requiring oversight of a scheduling team.

Required Skills:
Candidate must have either manufacturing or construction scheduling background.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Project. Experience in Suretrack (SP) or Primavera is a plus.

Candidate must have a solid foundation of sales, accounting, project management, engineering and fabrication processes.

Education:
A Bachelors degree from an accredited three or four-year program is preferred.

Military training and/or technical work experience could be considered in lieu of an engineering degree.
