Position Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Brookfield, WI (6 miles W of Milwaukee)

Position General Overview:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in leading project implementations for StateAdvantage, working with state governments. Our ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the software development life cycle including: client requirements gathering, design specifications, solution development, testing of client applications, client support, training, and systems integration. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will begin to assume project management level responsibilities as it pertains to management of staff, performance management, external communication for weekly status to the client, ownership of issue resolution, and change control.
Travel requirements will vary, however Senior Business Analysts may travel anywhere between 20-50 percent, depending on client assignment and phase of the project.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Serve as subject matter expert on product knowledge and implementation process.
Work with the client to understand and document application requirements and business objectives.
Develop and review detailed business and functional requirements for client review and sign-off.
Work with the Tech Lead to understand technical specification documents to ensure adherence to defined client requirements.
Work with the Tech Lead to monitor development of client applications to ensure adherence to requirements and design specifications.
Review test plans and strategies with Quality Assurance staff to ensure compliance with specification and quality end results.
Complete various QA tasks including creating and executing test cases.
Facilitate the client acceptance testing process.
Develop training manuals and lead training sessions specific to a clientÃ?????????Ã????????Ã???????Ã??????Ã?????Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?Â¢??s installation.
Lead the formal transition of product and project knowledge to the dedicated customer support resource.
Provide remote and on-site support and provide follow-up with clients regarding all issues/requirements.
Apply Connecture project experience and exercise good judgment and creativity in conducting project activities and resolving project-related issues and problems.
Create and deliver weekly project status reports.
Support Project Manager in leading external client project status meetings.
Identify project issues and ensure proper resolution and escalation to the Project Manager when support is needed.
Influence clients on issue resolution, change control, and scope definition.
Mentor junior or mid-level Business Analyst resources, as need be, ensure on time delivery of all project deliverables.
Ensure effective communication with team members who are shared across multiple locations.

4 plus years of experience with systems integration, and/or internet/web, desktop, client/server system implementation and support.
2 plus years leading BA efforts on various software implementation projects.
Highly competent with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, experience with Visio and MS Project a plus.

Other Preferred Skills and Experience:
Working knowledge of Federal or State Government sectors, specifically Health.
Working knowledge of The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) of 2010, specifically as it relates to the SHOP and AHBE health insurance exchanges.
Prior work experience within the health insurance or benefits implementation and administration,
General web application development knowledge.
General data communications and network operating systems knowledge.
Bachelor of Science/Administration degree or equivalent experience.
