| Description:
The UI Web Developer is responsible for development and maintenance of UI designs for Connecture's sales and service automation product suite. This role demands a high percentage of hands-on development, UI design skill, and general web-based tools. The Web Developer must collaborate with external clients as well as internal business analysts, engineers, back-end developers, and usability designers to gain an understanding of the product and have experience to develop mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills and an understanding of programming concepts. This position will report into our internal product development team and work under the supervision of a Senior User Interface Designer. |

| Required Skills:
-Minimum 3 years work experience, specifically in web design -Minimum 2 years of external client facing experience -Solid experience with HTML, JavaScript, JSP, XML, AJAX, Flash, Java, and CSS -Desire to learn and work with the newer user interface frameworks -Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator required -Knowledge of user interface design principles, web design best practices and web standards -Excellent track record designing web-based applications -Creative and detail-oriented -Ability to respond strongly and positively to challenging work and deadlines -Work as an integral part of a talented team in a fast-paced, proactive environment -Ability to present designs to users and evaluate ease of use -Ability to work independently and as a member of a team -Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills -Ability to respond strongly and positively to challenging work and deadlines -Strong interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills Other Preferred Skills and Experience: -Health insurance or general healthcare experience -Experience with graphics design and creation |
