| Description:
This is a highly challenging SQA Engineering position within a new, rapid product delivery team. The individual will be part of a tightly-focused SQA and performance engineering group, and will provide SQA support for a new product consisting of Windows/web clients and various application/web servers on Linux and Unix machines. Duties include developing test plans and test cases, developing test tools and automation, conducting code reviews, validating product designs, and working closely with other engineering team members to resolve all product quality issues. Qualifications 3-5 years experience of SQA engineering experience, including white-box testing, automation, custom tool development, test planning, and Windows/Linux system administration. Strong C/C++ and/or Java skills required. Knowledge of socket programming, SQL programming, and TCP/IP fundamentals is required. Candidate must have experience with troubleshooting large, complex C/C++ or Java applications, as well as experience with performing load and stress testing on client-server applications. Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Experience in delivering QA plans and executing on QA plans and test cases for enterprise software products required. Plusses: Experience with developing or troubleshooting multi-threaded server software is a plus. Experience with website programming using JavaScript and DHTML is also a plus. Knowledge of developing client C/C++ or Java applications for Oracle 9i/10g is highly desired. |
