International, employee owned company is looking for an Operations Webmaster. This company supports 18 of the worlds top 20 telecom companies, 8 of the top 10 U.S. Internet Service Providers, 9 of the 10 largest U.S. cable companies and 4 of the top 5 U.S. Wireless Service Providers.
In this role you will be responsible for working with corporate clients to resolve application and network problems with the content delivery network. Need to have in depth experience with a variety of internet based technologies and architecture including HTTP, DNS, firewalls, web caching, proxy servers as well as a high level of comfort with Linux and Windows. Need some exposure to steaming protocols such as UDP and RSTP and formats such as Flash and Windows Media. Experience with scripting will also be needed. Any experience with CDN is a definite plus!
