Description: JOB DESCRIPTION: QA tester will be responsible for test planning, generation and execution of test cases and scripts for CRD (Charles River Development) Compliance application. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The right candidate will validate functionality and business rules for our Compliance application, based on requirements and use cases Create, execute, track and report on functional and integration test cases generation and execution of assigned modules Responsible for execution of end-to-end testing, integration and functional testing as assigned; tracking and reporting on test case execution Generate test data per use case and per test case; find, report and retest defects Work closely with teams of developers throughout the entire development life cycle, to elicit and manage requirements, develop test strategies and test plans, ensure product quality, provide consulting on quality techniques, and ensure adherence to proper software development procedures Create test automation scripts, both for regression and for new functionality as its developed and deployed. Work on department-wide activities such as process improvement efforts, gather and report on quality metrics, and participate in pre-and post-implementation reviews COMPETENCIES: Candidate must have 5+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance with prior experience testing CRD applications required Knowledge of application development standards, tools, and utilities required Technically competent in, data warehouse systems, database technologies (Oracle, SQL, ODBC) Proficient knowledge of QA methodologies, Software Testing Best Practices, and SDLC Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment Prior experience with fixed income investments a big plus
