Sales Representative – Residential Systems – Central Region- Chicago Our company has been recognized as the world leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of quality lighting control products for over forty years. The development of new products, through constant innovation, has resulted in an average annual growth rate of 20% since the company’s inception. We commit 10%+ of our annual sales revenue to the research and development of new products. Our superior controls are used throughout the United States and in more than 100 countries worldwide. We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager in our Central region. In this key position, you will be responsible for establishing, developing and managing our residential sales including shading solutions. You will be covering 11 states in this region. Responsibilities: · Develop strong working relationships with Rep Agencies(of which there are 8 agencies in the region), understanding their business goals and growth objectives as to better manage them · Work with the Agencies and Dealers to develop sales and marketing programs customized to meet the needs of the Residential Systems market · Manage the execution of marketing plans that drive sales and growth · Organize and run programs that will train and teach agencies, dealers, sales reps and other customers in the residential channel what they need to be successful selling and representing our products · Service and support CEDIA dealers and electrical accounts while taking the business to the next level · Develop the residential window treatment business through existing CEDIA dealers and certified residential system contractors · Initiate and build strong sales relationships with key builders and developers · Effectively communicate internally and externally in order to successfully execute marketing, advertising programs that will drive sales to the end user Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree, technical, engineering or math preferred · Management experience and a proven track record of leadership and outstanding achievement · At least 5 years of sales experience, ideally but not limited to Residential Systems market. (CEDIA, residential AV equipment, security or installation companies) · Proven success managing rep agency relationships, resolving channel conflict, teaching, training and communicating an technical produce · Proven success developing and executing sales and marketing programs that result in sales growth · Strong communication and organizational skills · Affiliations with National and Regional organizations such as CEDIA , and experience promoting products to residential systems dealers, home theater distributors, electrical distributors and contractors, is a huge plus. |
