| Description:
Ingenuity Systems delivers systems biology expertise to biologists and bioinformaticians in commercial and academic settings through pathways analysis software, genome-scale computable network databases, and knowledge management software and infrastructure, resulting in increased R&D productivity and faster drugs to market. The IT Manager position is a hands-on role leading a small team of highly talented professionals who are responsible for all aspects of corporate IT systems for Ingenuity. Your technical responsibilities will include Microsoft networking, Exchange, desktop support, phone systems, mobile devices, virus protection, patch management, desktop policy enforcement, VPN/remote access, wireless network, asset management and IT purchasing. Your management responsibilities will include user community relations, mentoring your team members and organizing their work, defining and measuring key performance indicators, participating in budgeting and employee review processes. You will also be expected to participate in 24 x 7 on-call support rotation, and other duties may be assigned. |

| Required Skills:
- At least 5 years experience managing Windows based infrastructures - At least 2 years in a manager or technical lead role in which you were responsible for a team of at least two other technical staff members - BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent, or 5 additional years of relevant work experience. - MCSE certification with demonstrated expertise in MS Windows advanced server, MS Exchange, IIS, Active Directory domains, group policy, and DNS/WINS/DHCP services - Proficient with Windows security, internetworking concepts and TCP/IP protocols - Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule and be on call for emergencies 24 x 7. Some after-hours and weekend work will be required Desired Skills: - Experience with MS SharePoint, MS Systems Management Server, MS Operations Manager - Experience with multi-site Windows and Exchange - Experience with technology purchasing and vendor relationships - Familiarity with SalesForce.com customization support is a plus - Scripting skills are a plus |
