| Description:
(you will be expected to be in-person at key Client meetings leading the group in strategic initiatives) * Serve as the primary strategic planning member on the business. * Drive the strategy and supervise creative, media, social media and technical development for interactive projects including online advertising campaigns, Flash Demos, websites, mini-sites, publisher custom programs, larger partnerships, content creation, social marketing efforts and email campaigns. * Lead and develop sound strategic recommendations based on clear understanding of Client?s business to move it forward. * Drive strategic direction for designated clients, including annual planning, creative solutions to challenges; think "outside the box." * Develop a Client mapping plan to strengthen agency's relationship with Client and within their organization. * Coordinate/ manage the various departments of our agency and client team members on all aspects of multiple simultaneous projects. * Manage, oversee, and ensure the team communicates detailed project schedules to manage both agency and client expectations --- and ensure jobs deliver on time. * Track all categories of spending for projects and ensuring projects are delivered within the approved budget. * Responsible for budget revenue recognition and forecasting. * Motivate, inspire, grow and lead a team of up to 6 direct reports. * Manage the internal process for delivering client projects on strategy, on time, on budget * Manage and review the team's weekly project status reports and hold weekly project status meetings with internal and external team members. * Foster strong relationships with key client personnel. * Seek ongoing client opportunities for growth and increased revenue for the agency. * Proactively lead clients in areas to grow their business. * Support agency's new business activity as needed: information collection and analysis, presentation preparation and delivery, written proposal development. * Client day-to-day liaison. |

| Required Skills:
* Have strong Client presentation skills. * 6+ years experience managing projects either from the client or agency side with some interactive focus, with a total of 8-10+ years working experience. * Previous experience managing at least 4 direct reports with a clear and consistent management style. * Needs to have worked collaboratively with a planning and research agency function. * Must be able to build productive strong relationships with clients and agency team members. * Be a dynamic team leader, strong communicator and proactive decision maker within a fast-paced environment. * Must be able to think strategically and work autonomously. * Direct, assertive, fearless and ready for the challenge. * Must be passionate, highly driven and highly motivated to help continue to build the strength of the agency. * Thorough understanding of advertising agency process and value of creative quality. * Experience writing solid creative briefs and directing the creative development process both internally and in presentation to the client. * Must possess excellent project management, strategic thinking, and analytical skills, and be able to provide leadership and strategic direction to an account team. * Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple projects and to adjust to changes to satisfy client needs. * Must be trustworthy and sincere, with a "roll up the sleeves" work style. * Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously. * Experience managing client budgets, billing, timelines and other client fiscal management. * Sophisticated understanding and appreciation of creative. * Account planning knowledge. * Ability to inspire the talent and creativity of those reporting to her/him. * Exceptional written and oral presentation skills required. * Previous experience managing and growing annual budgets of $6+ million. * Ideal candidate will be familiar with large scale applications and/or eCommerce development. |
