Description:

Our client is a multi-billion dollar global provider of energy services with three business areas: Engineering & Production Facilities, Well Support and Gas Turbine Services, providing a range of engineering, production support, maintenance management and industrial gas turbine overhaul and repair services to the oil & gas, and power generation industries worldwide.



The Business Development Manager position is focused in the Gas Turbine Services division and is responsible for closing sales in 2 areas: 1) Controls Upgrades (average deal size is $500K and up to $1 MM) and 2) Field Services, such as gas turbine combustion inspections (deals vary from $50K to half million in size).



60% of your book of business will come from leads provided to you by the company and may consist of previous clients or new client potentials that have already been identified by the marketing team and the company's huge database.



The other 40% of your sales will come from existing deals, already in the works.



You will be responsible for covering the NE territory of the US. Your sales quota is $4MM, most of it coming from the controls upgrades business.



You can reside north of VA, MD, anywhere in the NE.



States most likely that you will cover are: CT, NH, VT, ME, RI, NJ, NY, PA, DE, MA. Possibly WV, MD.



Travel is 60-70%.



Required Skills:

* Must be a closer!

* MUST have experience selling to the Power Plant industry!!!!



Preferred:

* Prefer a controls engineer with 10 to 15 years experience in gas and steam turbine controls retrofit and upgrades.
