| Description:
Position Function: Engineering & Design Position Summary The company supplies broadband operators with the tools and platforms they need to deliver reliable telephony, demand driven video, next-generation advertising and high-speed data services. Touchstone firmware development for D2.0 & D3.0 products Travel: Not required. Work Sponsorship Available: Yes Background / Testing: Required Will consider transferring active H1B – no F1’s please Prefer candidates willing to relocate themselves. DUTIES Develop firmware feature sets per internal prioritization. Investigate and resolve internal and customer product defect reports. Following software development process to document design and update product defects in the ClearQuest system. Provide progress reports to managers. Work with SQA and integration groups to resolve issues found by internal testing. Work with Tech Services group to investigate field issues Write firmware design documentation. |

| Required Skills:
Good structured programming experience (C/C++, OS knowledge – Linux/Vxworks) Good problem solving and analytical skills. Good communication (written and verbal) 2 – 5 years experience Must have C++/Unix, embedded development and must be detailed within the job description. Data Networking |

Bachelor Degree/ BS in Comp Sci, Comp E or EE as a minimum MS in Comp E or EE is preferred Any Co-op experience or Master’s level project experience |
