| Description:
Hot, creative, fast-growing national digital agency is looking for an Atlanta-based Marketing Associate to oversee the internal and external agency marketing communication initiatives. Person will play a key strategic, marketing and public relations role on all activities driving expansion and awareness for the agency and will be the key contact for our external PR agency. Client wants someone who can make things happen while maintaining a good sense of humor. Job Responsibilities: o Marketing o Public relations  Organize media relations with external PR agency including article writing and placement, press release writing and distribution, and media/editor targeting  Coordinate with external PR Agency relationships with media relations contacts for press opportunities, as well as key industry associations • Manage press kit mailings to media contacts as necessary. • Maintain list for editorial calendars in key targeted publications • Identify opportunities to meet with key press/media relations contacts when spokespeople are traveling  Manage entry of client into various lists for recognition locally and nationally (AdWeek, OMMA, Atlanta Biz Chronicle, etc.)  Maintain list of various conferences and symposiums and keep track of papers presented; notify teams of approaching Calls for Papers, Call for Speakers. • Manage submission of forms for all speaker opportunities  Securing by-line opportunities for spokespeople and crafting the articles for these publications  Develop case studies for distribution to the press as necessary and approved  Evaluate PR initiatives for effectiveness including gross impressions and estimated ad value. o Company Events  Manage and/or assist in the coordination of corporate events such as summer outings, holiday parties and company/client events. o Holiday and Client Gifts  Manage the process of developing gift ideas, sourcing products and complete project management of holiday and client gifts. Including distribution of the gifts via delivery services. o Oversee industry award and competition entries. Duties may include, but are not limited to:  Development of industry award and competition master list, to ensure agency is aware of and registered with all award shows / competitions  Maintain file including all award / competition information  Project management of award entries (including completion of entry forms, gathering of creative assets for entry, etc.) o Project management of website  Development of schedules  Gathering assets and managing content on the site as necessary via the content management system/tool.  Proofreading and quality assurance  Build and maintain the online press room inclusive of Fact Sheets/Corporate Backgrounders/Bios/Images/Releases/Etc. o Keep all marketing materials updated.  Plan and develop basic agency materials -- kits, brochures, pocket pieces, boards, etc. -- and assist where appropriate in developing any new or special materials needed for initial new business meetings. o Administrative and Other o Coordinate and follow-up on all initiatives as assigned by Chief Creative Officer. o Manage marketing database, inclusive of all past, current and prospective clients, partners, organizations, etc. o Maintain company listings and write corporate profiles for inclusion in various print and on-line directories o Proofread and QA all projects to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy in all projects o Create weekly status report and review with CCO o Follow-up on all initiatives as assigned by Chief Creative Officer o Generate documentation as necessary such as: status reports, production timelines and/or phone reports, media reporting, analysis, and conference reports. o Manage marketing intern(s)  Manage schedule and approve timesheets  Assign projects and supervise activities o New Business Assistance (As Necessary) o Assist in developing agenda, format and materials for initial meetings with prospects and leads. o Maintain tracking report on meetings for prospect and internal files. o Maintain follow-up efforts during and after the RFP phase (such as video and print materials meeting the company, thank-you letters after meetings and pitches, internal communications as needed, etc.). o Read and clip from trade magazines, business papers and websites all pertinent information on targets and circulate where appropriate  Compensation/Benefits: Client offers a competitive salary based on your experience and an excellent benefits package including: medical, dental, life, LTD, STD and 401(k), Paid time off, Professional Development funding, a casual office environment and dress code, and unlimited opportunity for career growth. | Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have agency marketing experience with particular expertise in digital advertising.Candidate must be self-motivated, enjoy working autonomously and, most importantly, have the desire to help grow the business. Ability to multitask efficiently and follow through with assigned tasks  Ability to work under pressure with all levels of staff while consistently displaying a positive attitude.  Sharp communication skills and professionalism a must.  Must be a team player.  Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.  Excellent time management and organizational skills.  Good problem solving ability. |
