| Description:
The Consulting Operations Manager will function as the administrative project manager for ongoing consulting projects, tracking scope, resources, timelines and budgets. This person will also assist the Managing Director in screening incoming consulting prospects, and identify resources required to meet prospect needs. This position reports directly to the Managing Director of Consulting. Travel expected to be up to 50%. Specific Responsibilities: · Provide administrative project management analysis and research support to existing consulting projects to achieve required quality and profitability levels. · Track/forecast cash flow and invoice consulting clients. · Assist the Managing Director with the following: – Working closely with Business Development and Member Relations teams to evaluate services needed by prospects and members. – Supporting the marketing and sales efforts of the consulting group by screening prospects and profiling consulting opportunities for the Managing Director of Consulting – Staying in contact with and market to new and existing clients in various stages of the selling process. – Keeping the consulting team apprised of the needs and requirements of consulting prospects; provide input to the management team on new product or new service features that may be developed to meet current or future customer demand. – Conducting research related to prospects needs or industry trends; where appropriate upkeep and refresh consulting department knowledge bases. – Performing other duties as assigned. |

| Required Skills:
Three to five years of experience as a senior analyst in a consulting firm or in a management consulting division of a wealth management firm. · Must have superior written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create clear, concise, client-ready reports and documentation, as well as strong group presentation skills is a must. · Skilled in using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Customer Management systems; Project Management systems and in doing Internet-based research Personal skills: · Able to understand, interpret and respond to complex project management and project delivery problems. · Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills. · Must have superior relationship building skills and enjoy working as part of a team. · Able to monitor and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a multi-manager, entrepreneurial environment. · Able to take a leadership role as necessary in creating thought leadership pieces to support marketing efforts or for industry events and publications. · Willing to travel according to client and project needs. · Must be proactive and able to take the initiative to move issues or projects to closure without supervision. Desired: · Knowledge of wealth management disciplines including wealth structures, wealth strategies, investing strategies, reporting and record keeping, and governance regulations |
