| Description:
• leading the development of the project architecture design, • providing leadership and direction to solution delivery teams to fit solutions to the architecture, as well as to identify when it is necessary to modify the architecture to accommodate solution needs, • ensuring proper and effective reuse of application and technical services, frameworks and standard tools and templates in the proposed solution, • ensuring that all aspects of the solution design follows best practices and meets the requirements of the business by participating in conceptual and physical design, participating in design reviews and approving design deliverables, • ensuring that code (and other implementation artifacts) adhere to standards and implement the specified design by participating in detailed reviews and providing approval, • providing guidance to project teams in determining what functionality currently being implemented should be exposed as new services to the enterprise and • providing training, mentoring and knowledge to project team members. | Required Skills:
• must have five years of recent experience leading the architecture, design and delivery of enterprise class business solutions using object-oriented analysis and design techniques and object-oriented programming languages • must have expert knowledge and experience with designing and delivering solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability and overall cost to develop and maintain, • must have expert knowledge and experience with design patterns, service-oriented architecture, solution frameworks, technical patterns and technical services, • must have expert knowledge and experience with multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments, • must have experience with enterprise application integration using asynchronous messaging, message brokers, ETL tools and web services, • must have experience configuring, integrating and implementing commercial off the shelf software in a heterogeneous environment, • must have a strong business knowledge with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technology solutions, • must have strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills, • must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, • must have excellent planning and organizational skills, • must be able to balance the long-term ("big-picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions and drive actions that are consistent with long-term goals, • must be able to work under minimal supervision, • must have a high degree of self-motivation, integrity Desired: Microsoft .NET |
