| Description:
* Guide and drive media strategies for the pharmaceutical client account(s) and help to set overall objectives * Build, maintain and grow client relationships and client business * Oversee, author and/or constructively edit and review the writing of media documents (timelines, POVs, RFPs, plans, agreements, client memos and correspondence from within and outside the agency) * Develop and maintain media plans and monitor all approvals and client budgets * Perform in-depth target analysis activities including analyzing site information and demographics particular to client needs * Prepare plan presentations and oversee preparation of media plan presentation elements * Supervise, direct and review the development and implementation of specified media plans * Perform optimization efforts for online media campaigns * Lead weekly media meetings with clients and provide insight into weekly online media results * Lead client presentations * Ensure key information is provided to team in a timely manner including any client issues, internal agency issues, vendor issues, etc. * Provide and/or guide strategic input for all plans internally and externally * Help set negotiation strategies * Build and maintain relationships with media publishers and internal agency counterparts * Motivate, develop, train and help to evaluate team members * Manage account profitability * Demonstrate problem solving and intervention when necessary * Play active role in major media pitches for new business * Understand and adopt new trends and/or processes in interactive media for clients and the company * Understand and actively seek online media solutions to assist clients in achieving specific goals and objectives * Maintain and grow relationships with interactive media advertising representatives * Troubleshoot ad delivery and ad performance * Manage the scheduling, posting, tracking advertising and compiling weekly performance reports as necessary * Maintain knowledge of DoubleClick DART * Maintain knowledge of current online media trends and providing training to employees when necessary * Review site invoices and work with Accounting and Account Services to ensure accurate payment and prepare campaign reconciliations |

| Required Skills:
* A minimum of 5 years of online media planning and negotiating experience in an interactive agency * A minimum of 5 years managing a team * Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills * A complete knowledge of interactive marketing concepts and practices as well as a familiarity with offline media concepts * Strong mathematic and analytical skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint * Experience with 3rd Party Adserver * Working knowledge of online research tools such as Nielson, @Plan, AdRelevance and other media software tools * The ability to multi-task on numerous accounts, often with minimal direction * Experience analyzing complex data, market research and formulating actionable plans * Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail * The ability to work well with a team; function as a leader and also work independently Desired: DFA Certified |
