| Description:
Responsibilities: Develop software using a variety of environments and tools including Sybase ASA, SQL, Stored Procedures, UNIX scripts, Linux and Windows platforms. Design, build, and implement software applications. Deliver applications and services with a focus on Logical Database Design and Database Tuning. Maintain overall application functionality and develop software and data upgrade strategies. Work closely with management and other technology teams to create new features. Maintain application code and technical documentation. Maintain overall application functionality and compliance with specs. Testing/Background Checks Candidates submitted for this position must be evaluated within 14 days. |

| Required Skills:
4+ Years of engineering experience The applicant must possess a wide range of experience and knowledge, including strong Database design expertise, SQL, Stored Procedure, UNIX Shell, and Java programming skills. The applicant must have demonstrated, verifiable experience in software as well as the ability to properly prioritize, status, and work multiple tasks. The applicant should possess ability and desire to work within a small group of individual contributors. The candidate must possess excellent technical abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to quickly learn new applications and technologies and be able to understand how they work with a minimum of training and documentation are essential. Desired: Database modeling tool experience as well as XML experience Digital TV domain experience |
