| Description:
The Senior Interaction Designer works in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment to define and document the UI for communications applications on mobile devices used in the enterprise environment. In this position, the designer will work closely with product managers, engineers, and senior management to define, design, and ship products. - Set product direction and UI requirements based on user research, functional requirements, business goals, and company-wide strategic objectives -Drive the future of mobile UI design - Design world-class user experiences for mobile device platforms - Author complete design specifications - Manage design contractors on an as-needed basis - Communicate with and across multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of projects - Usability evaluation throughout the product development process - Help establish corporate UI design process, best practices, and document UI standards and guidelines Testing/Background Checks Candidates submitted for this position must be evaluated within 14 days. |

| Required Skills:
Industrial design degree and a minimum of 6 years of industrial design experience OR a minimum of 16 years of industrial design experience. -Relevant experience including designing, delivering, and shipping designs for device or desktop application software -Excellent communication skills; strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills -Excellent interpersonal, influencing, collaboration, and leadership skills -Experience presenting to small to medium sized groups in both formal and informal settings -Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, analytical and conceptual design skills, and the ability to promote effective User Centered Design processes within the product development process -Experience developing and documenting use cases, task flows and screen and interaction design. -Practical knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, web development tools -Organized and able to excel in a fast-paced and exciting environment -Ability to implement designs using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Desired: Prior experience with server and management user interfaces |
