As the product owner, you will work closely with software engineering, OEM partners and quality assurance in product definition, management and appropriately timed launch activities. You will research competition, pricing, market requirements and relevant industry standards while prioritizing and managing feature requests,schedules, and cost trade-offs. | Required Skills:
Product Manager - Mid-level (2-3 years product management experience) Flexibility and self-motivation - with a problem solver's attitude and attention to detail and the ability to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally in a team environment. At least 2 years of enterprise software product management experience including a detailed knowledge of the full software life-cycle, from requirements through launch and maintenance to obsolescence. -Demonstrated experience in designing and executing product launches, and the ability to analyze and communicate on the business and product directions with engineering, sales, executive management, and customers is required. -Ideal candidate will have a past experience in product management of a "software tool" and have a strong understanding of the needs, wants and expectations of software programmers in the next generation of software development tool they will use to do their job ! Desired: -A software engineering background or other professional technical experience in the areas of Application Lifecycle Management, Application Quality, integration technologies and/or enterprise applications is preferred. MBA or equivalent business experience is desirable. PMP, Agile, Eclipse, Sun Certification, etc. |
