Description:

Develop annual HRIS project plan based on HR strategies and priorities. Oversee Payroll and Benefits transaction processes.

• Responsible for managing, planning and executing assigned HRIS, Payroll and Benefits initiatives within established deadlines and budget.

• Oversee support of HR systems, Payroll and Benefits, including conducting needs analysis with internal clients, developing business cases for improvements, identifying and evaluating automated solutions, ensuring comprehensive testing, coordinating training and documentation, and implementing systems changes to effectively support business requirements.

• Provide day to day support of HRIS, Payroll processing and Benefits administration to clients (HR Team and Operations clients).

• Ensure HRIS, Payroll and Benefits processes remain compliant with information security policies, internal control standards and regulatory requirements as appropriate.

• Overall responsibility for determining system requirements and design and implementation tactics required for the successful delivery of effective HRIS, Payroll and Benefits processes.

• Provide guidance and leadership to the HR Analyst. This includes coaching, performance management, supporting the prioritization of work and resolving issues where appropriate.

• Closely monitor metrics surrounding transaction volumes, quality scores and turnaround times and implement measures to improve when necessary. Continuously seek opportunities to implement processes and/or procedures that improve quality, effectiveness and efficiency.

• Coordinate with IT and HRIS to ensure appropriate technical support is received to achieve objectives.

• Conduct analysis and work with other HR leaders to evaluate priorities for new and existing applications.

• Provide project management leadership to cross-functional teams engaged in developing HRIS, Payroll and Benefits solutions to complex business issues.

• Oversee the development and implementation of communications plans and training curriculum for HRIS, Payroll and Benefits system changes.

• Develop and maintain a variety of employee information reporting tools. Provide analysis, statistical data and recommendations as required.

• Oversee the effort to maintain tables, code lists, documentation and other internal files.

• Remain cognizant of trends in HRIS, Payroll and Benefits processes; relevant software development; materials and techniques to drive new systems thinking, processes and solutions through the HR organization.

• Understand the needs of the business and utilize multiple channels of communication and collaboration.

• Contribute to the development of an overall HR technology strategy.

• Position the team to grow and support on-going deployments of new HR technology.

• Contribute to the development of an overall HR technology strategy.



Required Skills:

• Minimum 7 years HRIS management experience, including project management and production support.

• Demonstrated experience with project methodology.

• In depth knowledge of the following PeopleSoft version 8.3/8.9 Modules: HR, Payroll, eRecruit, Employee/Manager Self Service, Kronos Time Collection.

• Knowledge of core HR processes including payroll, benefits, recruiting and performance management.
