ABOUT THE COMPANY: One of Canada's leading firms in the field of Acoustics, Noise Control and Vibration Engineering is seeking a special individual with 5 years experience as a Consulting Project Engineer in Acoustics and Vibration. JOB REQUIREMENTS: -Candidate will conduct projects in the field of noise and vibration assessment control. -This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and self-starting engineer to establish him/herself in the field of acoustics and vibration. -The successful candidate will manage projects in acoustics, noise control and vibration primarily as these disciplines relate to environmental noise, architectural acoustics and noise/vibration control design. -The position will require the chosen candidate to conduct analyses and perform sound and vibration measurements. -Expertise and proficiency is required in the application of practical and theoretical aspects of FFT Analysis, real time frequency filtering, and sound and vibration theory and measurements. -The successful applicant will show initiative in conducting projects and meeting with clients to resolve acoustical issues. -In addition, the position entails establishing contacts and links to future related projects. Other job responsibilities will include: -Performing engineering studies in environmental noise assessment, public consultation HVAC systems noise and vibration control. -Conducting site inspections of new constructions and verifying acoustic performance of details in situ.Data -Analysis and Report Writing. Salary will be commensurate with experience, and will be competitive. |
