| Description:
PROJECT MANAGER In general, this position will be responsible for achieving the overall objectives of assigned project(s), including both office and field activities. Will manage a successful team and drive the business to new heights on PPP projects. Responsibilities: Planning, scheduling, setting objectives and controlling activities during the construction phase of a project(s) in conjunction with the Project Superintendent. Implement and manage the Company safety program and monitor safety performance. Project administration which includes negotiating and awarding subcontracts for scopes of work, resolving issues to meet project goals, invoice approval and review, preparing progress application payments and maintain project files. Expedite all materials and equipment deliveries and monitor quality of work on site. Manage project budgets and timelines to exceed requirements. Qualifications: Successful candidates must have a civil or construction engineering background coupled with at least five (5) years progressive experience in the activities related to Project Management with a General Contractor. Your project management and administration skills allow support your ability to develop, coordinate and manage projects and resources effectively to achieve project goals, deadlines and client satisfaction. Your project portfolio demonstrates your excellent track record in PPP projects as well as ICI projects. You have highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. You are confident in your leadership ability and encourage teamwork and collaboration. Our client is a well respected construction company and is one of Canadas leading General Contractors.
