Description: Edwards Consulting Firm, Inc. has been retained to identify and qualify Director of Operations candidates for a nonprofit dedicated to providing housing for low income families. The successful candidate for this specific Director of Operations will demonstrate a proven record in most of the following areas: Prior experience working in Operations, strong experience and knowledge in Construction or Real Estate Excellent communication skills with ability to listen, write, speak and present to diverse audiences as well as influence others including strong negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines Strong management and people skills; understands and embraces inclusion Must demonstrate discretion, maturity and use of judgment to sensitive issues and information Experience building teams and promoting team work, collaboration Can leverage technology to take internal processes to next level Provides creative problem solving Works well with budgets and cost control Ability to identify and leverage untapped resources as well as create new resources Self-motivated and also has a willingness to accept coaching for continued improvement Strong leadership experience especially building relationships and collaborative partnerships and knows how to create win-win Ability to take large philanthropic mission and put into smaller achievable and measurable results consistently Passion for giving back and making a difference in the community

Education: Ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree. Advanced degree is desired.
