Description: Edwards Consulting Firm, Inc. has been retained to identify and qualify Executive Director candidates for a nonprofit collaborative organization in Savannah, Georgia. The successful candidate for this specific Executive Director role will have high visibility and must be committed to improving and enhancing the organization viability by getting measurable results. Ultimately, the search committee is looking for a candidate who possesses and can demonstrate a proven record in most of the following areas: Excellent communication skills, ability to write, speak and present to diverse audiences as well as influence others including strong negotiation skills. Knowledge of best practices on Continuum of Care and data research collection and reporting. Capacity to assess, train and rebuild staff and increase volunteers as appropriate. Ability to identify and leverage untapped resources as well as create new resources. Self-motivated with a willingness to accept coaching for continued improvement. Prior experience working with public agencies and governing bodies. Strong leadership experience especially building relationships and collaborative partnerships and knows how to create win-win. Ability to break a large philanthropic vision into smaller achievable and measurable steps. Passion for giving back and making a difference in the community especially in the lives of children and young adults and optimism for the growth of the organization. Willing to be not only a part of this nonprofit but the entire local community.

Education: Ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree. Advanced degree is desired.
