Description:
1) Candidate must have a 4-year college degree or the equivalent in work experience, plus 3 to 5 years of related work experience. 2) Knowledge on HP-9000 Servers (B, C, K and L Class, FC-60, SC-10 components, VA-7400), Intel Pentium based Servers and Workstations, HP-UX X-Terminals Installation and Troubleshooting. 3) Knowledge on Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting of HP-UNIX 11.x, MC/Service Guard, Logical Volume Manager (LVM), HP-VUE/CDE, HP Jetadmin, SAM, NFS, NIS, OTS, Disk Mirroring, RAID configuration, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Citrix Metaframe. 4) Expertise on HP Open View and SNMP configuration in OSS. 5) Knowledge on DBA level of Oracle 8.x, Oracle Backup Recovery, SQL*PLUS, SQL*Net, SQL*DBA. 6) Cisco Router and Cisco Switching, Configuration of Firewall understanding and knowledge 7) Expertise on TCP/IP, ISO/IP, HSRP, CLNS, FTAM, CMISE Protocols 8) Level 2 understanding and knowledge of different Network Elements like BSS, NSS, GPRS 9) Understanding of computers, DCN and file structures. 10) Must have Team Leading Skills 11) Should be able to Pro-actively follow-up on customer issues 12) Adept at learning new software applications. 13) Thorough knowledge of technical writing, editing, and proper English usage. 14) Self motivated well-organized individual who can prioritize work and handle multiple tasks. 15) Ability to interact with a variety of people and work well with others in a fast paced environment.

Required Skills:
Customer Service Engineer OSS level expertise for HP Unix & Windows/Intel Based Platforms. Position is to provide Implementation, Support, Software Upgrades and Maintenance activities on {CLEINT'S} OSS platforms to customers in the US.
