Description:

The litigation Group of our Offshore client has 10 partners and in excess of 25 other fee-earners globally providing litigation and dispute resolution services to blue-chip, house-hold name clients both locally and internationally.



Operating in the highly regarded Bermuda litigation team, this role will support the partners in further developing this rapidly growing practice area where prospects for career progression in the medium term are excellent. Managing cases across the range of mainstream local and international banking disputes - for instance, commercial loans, asset finance, letters of credit, security, insolvency, fraud, asset recovery and anti-money laundering, financial regulation, capital markets.



Required Skills:

• A sound knowledge of banking law in a

litigation context.

• Familiarity with the banking industry and

experience in dealing with in-house counsel.

• Ability to manage cases and lead other

lawyers with initiative, drive and

independence, within the group structure.

• Flexibility, occasionally supporting cases

across a range of other litigation issues.

• Strong presentation skills, preferably with

experience in internal and external training.

• Flair for initiation of and participation in

business development activies, forging strong

client relationships.

• An aptitude for giving crisp, clear and

practical advice.



Education:

Our client is insisting on a lawyer with excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree

• Experience of banking and or insolvency litigation gained from a leading practice or Law firm• Ability to achieve continuous improvement and developme
