Primary Purpose: The Director, Sales Development will lead a team of individuals responsible for building client solutions across all MSLO platforms focused on Midwest and West sales efforts, represented by the sales teams across Print, Television, Radio, and Digital. Will report to VP, Sales Development.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing overall deal flow across the full pipeline of client solutions in development
Partnering with sales management to determine priorities and force rank key tasks for the team
Ensuring that solutions are balanced across brands and media types
Ensuring the overall level of solutions development is commensurate with the quality of the brands MSLO represents in the marketplace
Exercising judgment as far as when customization is or is not required for a client solution
Driving thought leadership on how to align the power of the MSLO assets with the specific business objectives of key clients
Personally driving client solutions for select key clients
Taking a proactive role on professional development to be sure that each team member is meaningfully expanding their skill set including platform expertise, communications skill sets, strategy, and creative solutions development.

Required Skills:

Prior experience in a client solutions, sales development or sales marketing role within a major media company
Cross-platform experience (2 or more platforms across print, digital, TV and satellite radio)
Management experience, overseeing a team of 5+ people
Exceptional marketing and communications skill sets including written and verbal
Passion for brand marketing
Ability to multi-task extensively
Enthusiasm for MSLO offerings
