Primary Purpose: Responsible for identifying opportunities to utilize site behavior information to positively impact advertising revenue.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze and manage metrics in order to develop deep understanding of user base, including site visits, interaction, audience source, penetration, areas of interest, user demographics, user behavior and other metrics, in order to develop a deep understanding and profile of marthastewart.com users and other users in the family of sites.
Create a deep understanding of industry and competitor trends and how Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (MSLO) can win in the market.
Proactively interpret vast amounts of data into actionable information and recommendations for site programming and design and sales/marketing activities.
Communicate metrics and information in weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports, insuring complete accuracy and efficiency.
Proactively present findings, recommendations and opportunities to team.
Continually evolve use of Omniture and other analysis tools.
Overall Requirements:
5 yrs. related analysis experience, preferably with experience with Interactive analysis.
Superior analytic and problem-solving skills.
Highly proactive, inquisitive and enthusiastic.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of forecasting and planning techniques.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Technical Requirements:
Outstanding excel skills required.
Experience with Omniture or other interactive reporting tools, comScore, @plan, etc.
