| Description:
As a member of the the Client Services team, the project manager independently performs project management responsibilities for implementation and major upgrades of vendor applications. Implementations cover all phases of project management including development of the project management plan, scope refinement, timeline development, resource allocation, risk analysis and monitoring, and frequent communication with all levels of client management. Coordinates and directs the activities of all the project team members and coordinates closely with the client project manager to ensure successful installation of hardware and software, workflow analysis, configuration of software, integration testing, end-user training, go-live support, and additional software development if required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned): Serve as primary liaison to business clients and provide recommendations for improved system processes. Develop deliverables related to project initiation including project management plan, risk assessment, project initiation reports, staffing, and standards and control procedures. Monitor project progress, report status to client and identify and resolve risks that impact project completion. Manage project time and budget, initiate action to identify and resolve problems, and ensure project goals are met. Coordinates planning, testing, training, and installation of the clinical product to ensure timely deliverables and project success. Adjust resources as necessary to ensure project success and completion. Provide work direction and feedback to all project team members and assist in issue resolution. Provide guidance to team members on administrative and technical problems. Assist in staffing activities related to implementation projects. Develop new processes as necessary to ensure mission critical systems are completed; provide expertise in identifying appropriate methodologies for large-scale development/implementation efforts. Leads or participates in client business process redesign. Prepares and delivers formal presentations to colleagues and management. Shares best practices for account management staff development and technical expertise. Communicates effectively with all levels of staff and management, both internally and externally. |

| Education:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE College degree or equivalent experience required Minimum 5 years experience in a business analyst or project leadership/management role in a complex business and systems environment Technical alternatives knowledge |
