Responsibilities:
-Develops solid working relationships with customer project team and project sponsors
-Manages customer expectations and negotiates to achieve win-win solutions
-Responsible for forecasting and revenue recognition reporting for all assigned projects
-Owns the project and manages the project team to successful project completion
-Directs and motivates the project team
-Ensures that the Area Vice President is informed of the project progress and included in high level communications regarding the project
-Escalates any client concerns to the Area Vice President for resolution
-Develops and maintains the Scope of Work, Project Plan, Issue List and Risk Migration Strategies
-Acts as the single point-of-contact for all project related activity
-Manages risks, including development of contingency plans, and ensures appropriate mitigation is in place
-Directs change control and configuration management for the Project
-Ensures that the correct resources are assigned to the projects and manage their engagement
-Manages communications with stakeholders both internally within the company and externally with clients
-Prepares project plans, updates project plans monthly, monthly status reports, execution of monthly project reviews, bi-weekly forecasting and transition to support documentation

Required Skills:
The Project Manager provides management oversight and control of project personnel and also manages the project plan for the team and the client. The project manager is responsible for driving project communications, forecasting, reporting, and coordination of activities. The project manager manages multiple projects at any given point in time and is accountable for every aspect of the project. The role requires:

-Proven ability to analyze and solve problems in order to deliver results
-Relatively intense analytical skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, the intensity to focus on small details, and the talent to think “big-picture”
-Strong project management skills: prefer PMP
-Excellent communication skills both written and oral, with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels within and organization
-Demonstrated planning skills
-Self-motivation and willingness to take the initiative

Education:
-Bachelors Degree or higher education with a business, engineering, management or health care related focus
-Min 4 years project management experience in a project lead role
-Min 2 years in the healthcare informatics industry
-PMP Certification, or equivalent experience
-Exposure to healthcare automation and care delivery practices preferred
-Project and risk management experience preferably accompanied by clinical or technical background
