| Description:
Sales Director The Sales Director role focuses on achieving sales revenue and market share targets by developing and executing business plans, liaising with an outside sales team (sales representatives and Vice Presidents), and ensuring effective coverage of territories. In addition, the Sales Director will be the primary resource for selling a related software solution to select physician practices. His/her primary focus will be to manage the outside sales team, acting as a mentor and coach, enabling them to meet their goals and ensure the sale of our products at or above target. The Sales Director reports to Vice President of Business Development. Qualifications: In order to be considered for this position, you must have a strong sales management background with a proven track record in Healthcare IT sales to physician practices. You will possess core technical skills of strategic selling, account management, budget control, contractual negotiation and opportunity development. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, will be outstanding. You will demonstrate strong presentation, sales, negotiation, and influencing skills. Your goal will be to improve efficiency and effectiveness of a national sales force by creating, implementing and managing various collaborative tools, sharing success stories and methods with the team as a whole. You will motivate individuals, regional teams, and the national team, encourage good sales habits and reward success in closing sales at or above target. Responsibilities: Your main focus will be to manage day to day activities of the Outside Sales Team. Monitor, supervise and coach 20+ Account Reps and 6 Regional Vice Presidents who are located across the country, utilizing phone, web, and in person management tools Coordinate sales strategies with the VP of Business Development Implement sales strategies and structure for outside sales. Track adherence to sales process, including daily inside and outside sales activities, demos completed, proposals delivered, sales closed Travel on an occasional basis to train, motivate and support team members in their sales process Coordination and planning of budgets, people and time management Disseminate pertinent information to help identify, qualify and close opportunities Develop and review account and sales plans (short-mid-long term) Monitor, analyze sales and market trends Participate in various sales/leadership committees to define requirements for improving effectiveness of sales force Define and create and implement new tools for education and training needed to support both new and seasoned salespeople.
