Required Skills: Your clinical skills are needed to further enhance this EMR especially designed for the Emergency Department. As a Clinical Application Analyst, you will be using your clinical expertise, and your organizational and analytical skills throughout the entire software development life cycle. You will work with a team of product management personnel, clinicians, and technologists to further enhance this application, which is already a market leader in a rapidly growing informatics market. You will develop requirements and participate in the Product Roadmap development and management process. He or she serves as the agent between the customer community and the software development team. Essential functions include gathering and establishing a baseline of requirements for proposed software development projects. Documentation of the requirements in the form of use cases, workflow diagrams and supplementary specifications. Clarification of any requirements during the Software Development Life Cycle. Assistance with usability testing of the Graphical User Interface (GUI). Providing assistance to Sales, Marketing, Software Designers, Deployment, QA Testers, Trainers, Clinicians and others involved in the project to better understand the specifications. Managing the requirements process and specifications, and verify fulfillment of all requirements. Experience: At least 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting, preferably in the Emergency Department or Critical Care area. At least 2 years of experience in a requirements analyst position. Ability to travel 25% of time.
