Travel to customer site and teach the office staff how to best use the GE Centricity Practice Management System. Use consultative approach to improve function of the office and best use of people and systems.
Up to 75% travel, some local, some regional.

Full Job Description:

Role: EMR Clinical Consultant

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Lead the Medical Practice through the implementation of the Centricity EMR product, focusing on the training and education at the medical practice. This would include both clinical and non-clinical staff. The activities will include:

·Conduct initial customer assessment; establish customized implementation/training plan
·Identify customer implementation requirements
·Influence and drive implementation plan and timeline
·Provide remote analysis of data build process
·Deliver onsite and remote coaching to customers, utilizing remote software tools
·Participate in report specification process for custom reports if applicable
·Deliver supplemental application training as necessary
·Conduct interim on-site customer visits after initial training
·Support the clinic go-live session (part of our phased implementation approach)
·Coordinate implementation activities with Project Management and other technical services staff.
·Provide project documentation, including implementation plans, site visit reports and other documentation as appropriate
·Assist with development and improvement of implementation and training process


Qualifications/Requirements:
·Strong Clinical Information Systems knowledge;
·Strong interpersonal skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
·Excellent communication skills - ability to interface and influence at multiple organization levels
·3 Years clinical or technical experience using an electronic documentation system in a clinical setting preferred
·Strong PC skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
·Ability to travel, up to 75%.

Desired:
·Working knowledge of the GE Healthcare Centricity EMR (formerly MedicaLogic Logician) product line and/or Practice Management software.
·2 Years formal or informal training experience
·Strong knowledge of Adult learning principles
·Experience delivering remote training, utilizing WebEx or like delivery mechanism
