| Description:
The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying, qualifying and selling solutions to potential clients. Business development and leading the sales process are key elements in the foundation of our company growth. Functions and Responsibilities · Identify and close health enterprise prospective clients. · Responsible for all components of a complex selling process, including: o Prospecting: VP of Medical Affairs, CMIO, CIO and other C-level positions o Arranging presentations o Product demonstrations o Conducting site visits o Preparing and presenting pricing o Coordinating RFP response o Contract negotiations · Maintain up to date knowledge of industry competitors and consultants · Stay abreast of technical, industry, and user needs · Update territory management tools; report sales activity to management Required Qualifications · Comprehensive knowledge of clinical software applications in acute and ambulatory settings. · Knowledge and understanding of clinical terminology and process. · Strong grasp of the underlying technology that drives application software · Proficient in use of automated territory management tools · Proven experience with Miller Heiman Strategic and Conceptual selling methodologies · Knowledge of information strategies for the healthcare enterprise · Ability to manage multiple prospects and sales events simultaneously · Demonstrated ability to work effectively with sales teams, consultants, outside vendors, and executive leadership of healthcare organizations. · Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees. Effective listener; clearly presents information through the written and spoken word; interprets and presents complex information in an accomplished, professional manner. · Proficient computer skills, including thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications for document processing, presentations, and spreadsheets. Optimal Qualifications · Prior related experience with healthcare firm, provider organization, or healthcare vendor with a focus on information technology for providers and clinicians. · An advanced clinical degree or specialty (e.g. RN) Educational and Professional Experience · Professional work experience of 5+ years of successful sales to health enterprises or physician offices. · Track record of closing large contract values (average contract value > $500,000). · Experience closing multiple sales in a 12 month period and exceeding large quotas (> $3 million) · Experience managing sales cycles exceeding 6 months. · Documented experience selling at the C-suite of health care. · Travel Experience · Minimum 60% travel required with this position · Must be an independent traveler; demonstrated ability to arrange and manage personal travel arrangements.
