| Description:
This person will perform SAP Business Intelligence architectural functions including analysis and system design for development efforts; maintenance of data extracts and loads; performance tuning for queries, data loads and data access to optimize efficiencies; application testing of periodic vendor applied maintenance packages; production support; resolve problems and document issues and resolutions. The candidate will act in a leadership capacity, adhering to and ensuring SAP best practices are maintained and followed. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems, or equivalent real-life experience. 5- 7 years of architecture experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in SAP BI experience. 3 to 4 years full cycle implementations on BW. Experience in BI technical architecture development. Technical and functional experience in BW data mapping, data modeling, and query development. Previous experience in a Data Warehouse environment using Informatica as ETL tool. Experience in a Data Warehouse environment using DB2. Experience with Cognos tools. Experience with SAP R/3 in the SD, and FI-CO Modules would be beneficial but not essential. Configuration experience with SAP SD, FI-GL, FI-SPL, CO and PCA would be beneficial but not essential. Understanding of the core SAP data structures. COMPETENCIES: 1. High degree of proficiency in project management methodology and applications (e.g. MS Project & Project Server). 2. Knowledgeable and experienced in systems development life cycle: analysis, design, development, test,implementation and support 3. Solid understanding of business strategy and business processes. 4. Proficient at documenting business and IT processes 5. Superior oral and written communication skills. Listens effectively. Presents to upper management. Authors complex documents and clear and understandable reports. 6. Strong customer service orientation. 7. Excellent analytical ability. 8. Ability to demonstrate proven technical and troubleshooting aptitudes and capabilities. 9. Ability to perform successfully in a team environment. 10. Able to demonstrate self-motivation and ability to bring focus to tasks. |
