Description: DESCRIPTION: Multiple openings on the Law Products team at top notch Financial Services/Media organization. Looking for senior software developers with very strong technical skills in C/C++. Strong skills in Java or C# acceptable, but only with some professional C++ experience. Experience developing software for UNIX or Linux is preferred. The team is working on developing software for acquisition, analysis, processing, indexing, and searching of a diverse base of legal information sources. Responsibilities include design, development, and support of legal information applications, managing small to medium sized projects, and working with business experts. REQUIREMENTS: * Strong OO design and development skills in C++ in Unix/Linux; or strong OO design and development skills in Java or C# PLUS background in C++/ Unix/Linux * Experience with different XML technologies (XPath, XSLT, XML parsers, etc.) is a strong plus * Some proficiency in C++ required, and additional skill in Java or C# * RDBMS, Oracle, PL/SQL skills are a plus * Search engine or legal data services development experience is a plus
