| Description:
The Senior IT Business Analyst serves as the point of contact for the business organization in order to support a production SAP application. This role is accountable for providing hands-on day-to-day support to the business as needed, including resolving trouble tickets and completing small enhancements on time and with high quality. Develops best business practice knowledge, and supports the business in integrating this into the SAP solution and manages SAP Roll Out teams to provide Business and Technical Support for SAP and non SAP Applications. Minimum Qualifications BS/BA degree in Function Minimum 3 to 5 years of working with SAP Minimum of 3 to 5 years functional experience Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent PC Skills Excellent Communication Skills Ability to travel as needed Preferred Qualifications SAP Time Management configuration and project lead experience, 4.6 or above as well as two full life-cycle implementations. Secondary module experience in recruiting, performance management, career management, succession management or compensation. Experience to include implementation planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, rollout and post-implementation support. Ability to resolve configuration and functional business issues across the various HR modules in a hands-on manner is critical. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Exhibits good judgment to resolve or escalate problems or issues Displays exceptional time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities Excellent team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and be an effective contributor in a diversified team Ability to work as a virtual team member Primary Objectives Perform business analysis activities and identify areas of potential process improvement Prepare test plans and scripts; perform unit and quality assurance testing Ensure that functional business requirements are met by working closely with the functional business unit Develop functional and best practice business process knowledge Primary Responsibilities & Duties Prioritize production support issues and develop detailed work task lists Ensure that all business requirements are met by continuously validating the configuration Strive to maintain a vanilla configuration to avoid major future support cost Works with others in the SAP environment in learning / mentoring situations Proactively participate in the integration between related SAP functions from an application perspective Partner with other functional Business Analyst to ensure support and system enhancement Coordinate and drive end-user training Record and document technical and business processes and procedures. |
